Diana Maal joins Pueblo’s Catholic Foundation team

The Catholic Diocese of Pueblo Foundation is pleased to announce that Ms. Diana C. Maal has joined our staff. Diana will serve as our development coordinator, and her work will focus on building the Catholic Foundation’s capacity for giving and outreach.

Diana, her husband Luis and their two sons, Andrew and Adam, live in Pueblo West. Diana and Luis have been married for 20 years and are parishioners of the Shrine of St. Therese.

The entire family has been very active in the church serving as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, lectors, altar servers and parish council and finance council members. Diana and Luis have long been supporters of Catholic education. Both sons attended St. Therese Catholic School in Pueblo. The younger son Adam is currently attending St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs. The older son Andrew graduated from St. Mary’s in 2016, and is currently a freshman at the University of Dallas.

Diana has been teaching in higher education since 2004 and previously worked as an engineer. Through her volunteer work at the Shrine and St. Therese Catholic School, Diana has discovered a passion for raising money for worthy causes.

Diana looks forward to informing the faithful throughout the diocese of the Catholic Foundation’s livelihood and the programs it supports. Her goal is to proclaim, engage and invite the Catholic community to participate in the ministry for the sake of the mission. She hopes to meet others on common ground, whether it be giving or receiving.
