Anniversary Timeline

February 26: opening vespers held at the Cathedral.

April 23 - May 6: Treasures of the Church Relics Tour featuring Fr. Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross, held in five locations.

May 7: Diocesan relics of Sts. Blaise and Lucy unveiled at the Cathedral.

May 8 - 10: Study Days held. Sherry Weddell speaks on Forming intentional Disciples.

September 22: DCCW holds convention, with a presentation on St. Therese.

September 30: Mass held at Shrine in Pueblo for the 120th feast of St. Therese.

October 1: Mass held at the Cathedral for the feast of St. Therese and kick-off “33Days” self guided retreats.

October 13: Mass held in Olathe for 100th anniversary of Fatima. Bishop Berg consecrated the Diocese of Pueblo to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

October 15: Mass held at the Cathedral for Fatima anniversary.

November 1: Mass held at St. Therese in Vineland for the solemnity of All Saints. The first group of “33 Days” participants make an Act of Entrustment to St. Therese.

November 3 - 6: Fr. Michael Gaitley delivers “33 Days” talks in Pueblo, Alamosa, Durango, Grand Junction.

December 6: Commemoration of the announcement of the Diocese on Feast of St. Nicholas, Open House & noon Mass at Cathedral.

December 9 & 10: Our Lady of Guadalupe Masses held in Lamar and La Junta. 

December 12:  Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrations held in San Luis & Conejos, with Act of Consecration for “33 Days” participants to St. Therese in Manassa.
