Volunteers Opportunities
The Diocese of Pueblo celebrates people doing extraordinary things through service. Volunteers give their time, energy, and passion to the Diocese of Pueblo through a variety of ministries.  We value their work and commitment to our mission. Volunteer Safe Environment Training Requirements

The Diocese of Pueblo requires that all clergy, seminarians, and employees complete the Safe Environment Training Program regardless of their level of contact with children.  All adult diocesan volunteers who will have regular contact with children or young people must complete the Safe Environment Training Program also.  

The training requirements include:

  1. Watching a video at the Diocese of Pueblo Safe Environment training hub;
  2. Read the Diocesan Safe Environment Policies & sign the acknowledgement form
    a. Guidelines on Interactions with Children and Young People
    b. Sexual Misconduct Policy
  3. Complete a background screening form

EnvisionRx Prescription Drug Plan
Using the EnvisionRx Prescription Drug Plan allows you to work more effectively with your doctor to make informed decisions about medications. Create your member profile at to find out how much your current prescription drugs cost are, research Preferred Drugs, or locate one of the more than 72,000 network pharmacies across the country. Vision Service Plan (VSP)
Eye care is about more than just getting glasses or contacts. It’s about overall health. Eye exams can catch early warning signs of serious health conditions, like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. The VSP program encourages you to have an annual eye exam. Create an account for instant access to your personal benefit information. Check out your coverage, find an eye doctor, see past visits, manage your account, and more. Delta Dental
Delta Dental understands the important connection between oral health and overall health and encourages members to learn about oral health, the importance of prevention, and tips for keeping your smile bright and your body healthy. Lincoln Life Insurance
There is no cost to you for Basic Life coverage and you are automatically enrolled. However, you must complete the beneficiary information on the enrollment website.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Lincoln Financial offers an employee assistance program (EAP)to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their job performance, health, and well-being. EAPs offer confidential guidance with short-term counseling, financial consultations, legal services for employees and members of their household.

Worker's Compensation
Diocesan employees are covered by Worker’s Compensation insurance which is provided by Pinnacol Assurance and is a benefit provided to employees who are injured on the job.

Supplemental Insurance
