March for Life 2012 Trip

The Diocese of Pueblo is teaming up with the Diocese of Colorado Springs to offer a trip January 21 to 24 to the annual March for Life in Washington D.C. Youth and young adults ages 14 to 24 from across the diocese are invited to attend. The cost of the trip is $250 which includes air fare, hotel accommodations and metro fees.

The first March for Life was held January 22, 1974 on the West steps of the Capitol building. An estimated 20,000 committed pro-life Americans rallied that day on behalf of the unborn. The numbers have risen each year and these growing numbers give testimony to the increasing pro-life witness.

An informational meeting will be held on August 4 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary parish in Pueblo. If unable to attend, please contact Deacon Darrell or Tammy Pagels at (719) 251-6775 or (719) 553-7121 for more information.

The first 50 people to register are guaranteed space on the trip so early registration is encouraged. Registration forms and a $50 deposit are due by September 15. Forms can be found on the respect life page of the diocesan website at
