1. Deacon Daniel Leetch has been appointed as Director for Permanent Deacons of the Diocese of Pueblo, serving at the Bishop’s discretion, in collaboration with the Vicar for Clergy. This appointment is effective August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time, or until revoked.  


2. Deacon Michael Anderson has been assigned to Saint Peter Parish, Gunnision, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Western State Newman Club. This appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

3. Deacon Corey Compton has been assigned to Christ the King Parish, Pueblo, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Hospital Ministry. This appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

4. Deacon Mario Diaz has been assigned to Saint Mary Parish, Montrose, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Nursing Home Ministry. This appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

5. Deacon Luke Konantz has been assigned to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Grand Junction, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Colorado Mesa University Newman Club. This appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

6. Deacon Richard Madison has been assigned to Saint Benedict Parish, Florence, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Hospice Ministry. This appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

7. Deacon Jose Pacheco has been assigned to Saint Mary Parish, Montrose, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of Jail Ministry. His appointment is in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.

8. Deacon Robert Sanchez has been assigned to Holy Family Parish, Pueblo, Colorado. In addition to his primary duties, he has been entrusted to the non-parochial position of High School John Newman Club. This appointment in in effect as of August 4, 2017 and remains in effect for an indeterminate period of time.
