Staff Announcement

Please join us in welcoming our new staff members who will each support Bishop Berg’s strategic plan and our becoming the Diocese of the Little Way! 

Jamie Beal accepted the position of Administrative Assistant to our Chancellor, Rev. Matthew Wertin, effective June 4, 2018. Jamie has over five years of experience as a Legal Assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Textual Studies and Political Science from the University of Denver, in Denver, CO.

Jamie has strong ties to Holy Family Catholic Church in Pueblo, CO where she has attended since she was a small child. Our new Director of Missionary Discipleship for the Diocese of Pueblo is Seth Wright.  Beginning on July 10th, his role has been to advance the diocesan strategic planning and missionary conversion by networking and equipping Spirit-filled evangelizers, with a particular focus on Youth, Families, and Campus Ministry.  Seth holds a doctorate in philosophy from Villanova, a certificate in Directing Religious Education from Franciscan University in Steubenville, and a Masters in Theology from Ave Maria University. He served as Director of Adult Education for the past 8 years at St. John Nepomucene Parish in Ennis, TX . Seth and his wife, Annette, with their six daughters, felt called to something more, and found what they were looking for in our recent efforts to renew the diocese through intentional discipleship and building Amazing Parishes.    Jimmy DiIorio has been brought on as the Director of Development for the Diocese. Jimmy was born and raised right here in Pueblo, Colorado, to (Jim) and Loretta DiIorio.  He attended South High School and Colorado State University Pueblo where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He has been married to his wife, Heather, for nine years and they are proud parents to their daughter Harper. Prior to joining the Diocese of Pueblo, Jimmy was the Communications and Development Director at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pueblo. He brings with him a long and successful track record of developing fundraising strategies and connecting with the community. He is also the Grants Specialist for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development and Rice Bowl campaign. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and going fishing whenever he can.
